Final CurtainIn case you are wondering, there is a cartographic connection to the Meeks Store illustration. The curtains shown above are similar to the Digital Elevation Models distributed by the US Geological Survey. Chris created the curtains in Bryce's Terrain Editor by painting with light (higher) and dark (lower) pixels and then extruding the terrain as a 3D object. By clipping the lowest values in the center of the terrain (shown by yellow above) he created a void leaving the two curtains on either side. |
