The folks at the National Park
Service’s Harpers Ferry Center have developed a dandy little
program using FileMaker Pro that enables you to assemble labels,
graphics, and artifact data in a single database, and to manipulate
that information in many useful ways.

New: Museum Exhibit Planner, Version 20
In May 2007, Harpers Ferry Center completed a Beta test version of its Museum Exhibit Planner software application. The new file MEP 20 replaces MEP 16-6. The program helps exhibit teams manage content elements and keep track of project goals, quality factors, and project requirements related to content. The new program incorporates many new features for exhibit planning and maintenance.
The program is still under development, but now embodies most of the features needed for project work. MEP 20 is designed to be compatible with the requirements of the new 2007 IDIQ contracts for Exhibit Planning and Design. [Learn more about IDIQ Contracts]
Some aspects of the program may be incomplete, and not all of the context-sensitive help has been installed yet. Planners wishing to use the program as it is can import their data into new templates as they become available. User feedback will help in correcting errors and enhancing the usefulness of the program. Updated application files will be posted on this web page.
