From U.S. Route 340 traveling west, turn right on Union Street, right on Washington Street, right on Storer College Place (at the Appalachian Trail Conference headquarters), and right on Fillmore Street to parking lots for Mather Training Center and Harpers Ferry Center.

From U.S. Route 340 traveling east, turn left at the traffic light on Cavalier Heights (adjacent to the West Virginia Tourist Information Center) and proceed along Washington Street through the town of Bolivar. After passing the Fire Station and Post Office (on the left), turn right on Storer College Place (at the Appalachian Trail Conservancy headquarters), and right on Fillmore Street to parking lots for Mather Training Center and Harpers Ferry Center.
