Guided Tours

Gulf Islands National Seashore offers a variety of ranger-led tours.  Visit historic forts, take a barrier island walk or hike through dune and salt marsh habitats to meet our local avian residents.  Tours are offered throughout the year with morning and afternoon times available. Please check our Schedule of Events for up-to-date information. Ranger-led tours are a great addition to any vacation!

Did You Know?
Gulf Islands National Seashore's Fort Massachusetts, on West Ship Island 12 miles off the Mississippi coastline, was covered by the 30-foot storm surge from Hurricane Katrina on August 29, 2005. The fort has been reopened to the public.
