  • Logan Pass water system temporarily down

    The water system will shut down Tuesday afternoon, July 22, and the temp system is anticipated to be working by the weekend. Visitors should bring water or refillable water bottles. There will be some water available to refill bottles in the parking lot. More »

Horseback Rides

Guided horseback rides are available inside the park at Many Glacier, Lake McDonald, and Apgar.

Swan Mountain Outfitters offers drop camp services, packing visitor's gear into certain backcountry campgrounds using stock. This can be an enjoyable alternative to backpacking. A backcountry permit and advance coordination are required, please contact Swan Mountain Outfitters for more information.
