Horseback Rides

Guided horseback rides are available inside the park at Many Glacier, Lake McDonald, and Apgar. Swan Mountain Outfitters offers drop camp services, packing visitor's gear into certain backcountry campgrounds using stock. This can be an enjoyable alternative to backpacking. A backcountry permit and advance coordination are required, please contact Swan Mountain Outfitters for more information. For information and reservations contact: Swan Mountain Outfitters Horseback rides are not available in Glacier National Park in winter.
