Winter Field Trip Schedule (Grades 1 to 2)

Flexibility for weather conditions, bus problems, etc…is essential to having an enjoyable visit to the park. No two school programs are exactly alike, but the following schedule represents a typical trip. 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Travel to the Park 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Meet Park Rangers at Designated Site 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Snow Cup Experiment and Puppet Show 10:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Native American Story 11 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. Lunch and Wrap-Up Snow Cup Experiment 11:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. Snowshoe Hike 1:15 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Snowshoes Off and Bathroom Breaks 1:30 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. Bus Leaves the Park |
