George Rogers Clark Memorial Construction

After many years of planning the reconstruction of the George Rogers Clark Memorial Terrace began on August 9, 2008. The work took approximately 14 months and the Memorial was reopened during September of 2009.  This restoration project was a major event in park history.  Click through the photo galleries below to see the construction that took place during this project.

Did You Know?
The George Rogers Clark Memorial was administered by the State of Indiana untill 1966 when it was adopted into the National Park Service. President Lyndon Baines Johnson visited the park and signed the act which made it a national historical park.
