Reservations
School field trip and tour group reservations can be made by calling 701-572-9083. Please contact the park in advance to make reservations so staff can have sufficient time to prepare for any special needs such as educational programs.

Northern Plains tribes made up the entire bulk of trade at Fort Union. Camps usually came in the spring to trade buffalo robes and furs for trade goods. This trade did continue throughout the year even though spring was considered trade season.
