1860 Colt Army Caliber .44 Barrel length: 8" This weapon was made by Colt gave the army a pistol that had the caliber of the old dragoon revolvers but the size of an 1851 Navy. The difference between an army and navy pistol is the size. Navy revolvers are .36 caliber while army revolvers are 44 caliber. Though this was still a Colt, there were no gramographs on its cylinder.
