Yellowstone Association Institute
The nonprofit Yellowstone Association Institute offers field courses that provide an inside look at Yellowstone National Park. In this remarkable outdoor setting students gain new appreciation for the value of wild places.

EarthScope
EarthScope is a national research project that will use the entire United States as a laboratory to explore movements of the Earth’s crust and monitor volcanic and earthquake activity on a continental scale. The project is expected to last approximately 20 years.

The Big Sky Institute
"BSI is an interdisciplinary science, education, and outreach institute that was created by Montana State University and like-minded members of the community to transform the role of science in our society by advancing and communicating objective and relevant place-based science and to increase the understanding and appreciation of the globally significant Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. BSI is the only university-based institute entirely focused on the GYE."
