This photographic journey takes you from Mission San Juan Bautista Guerrero, Mexico to Fort St. Jean Baptiste Nachitoches Parish, Natchitoches, LA - all along the El Camino Real de los Tejas NHT. Professor Talbot took over 300 images, 30 of which were selected for a traveling exhibit. The first showing was in the Rockdale Public Library, TX on Thursday October 21, 2010.

Long before Spanish entradas (first explorations) into the American Southwest, American Indian trails crossed Mexico, Texas, and Louisiana. Some of these same routes provided access for later traders, soldiers, and immigrants following El Camino Real de los Tejas National Historic Trail.
