Marian Norris is a 9-year NPS veteran, with experience from a variety of water resources positions. Marian served for six years as NCRN’s project lead for their water monitoring program. Before that she spent three years developing the water monitoring program, writing the protocol and portions of the Network’s monitoring plan.
Prior to working with the Inventory and Monitoring Program, Norris developed Hydrogeomorphic Functional Assessment Models for urban wetlands in New Jersey and developed water monitoring-based curriculum for middle and high school students in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She has participated in water resources research throughout the East Coast.
