A Wet and Wild Saturday at Craters of the Moon

As befits a wilderness celebration, wild nature ruled the day at Craters of the Moon National Monument on Saturday. The day's activities included a fun run, a puppet show, an exhibit dedication, a film festival and an astronomy presentation.  

The day began with a run around the park's loop road. Results from the 5 and 10 kilometer races are available at the following link:

A big thank you goes out to all 22 participants who braved the elements and helped raise funds to bring Idaho school children to the park. The Craters of the Moon Natural History Association (NHA) hosted the race and received generous support from the following organizations and individuals:
