Search Engine Accounts

The Search Engine Accounts dialog shows all the search engine API accounts that have been set up for querying search results for the selected Reporting group.

Access this dialog by either:

The dialog has a filter for switching between search engines. Pick from the Search Engine dropdown and click the Filter button to display the API account for that search engine.

Reporting Group: The current Reporting Group displays as a read-only field. Note that accounts are specific to a Reporting Group.

The report show the following columns:

Click to sort results by search engine or CommonSpot name, the maximum number of allowed queries, the time the search engine was last queried, or the status returned for the query when it was last run. CommonSpot reports the current query quota, the date and time of the last query and Last Run Status:

In the Actions column, pick from the following:

Click the edit icon to view or change search engine account information.

Remove individual search engine accounts by clicking the delete icon . CommonSpot confirms deletion.

Click Add Search Engine Account to create a new account for the the current search engine and Reporting Group.

CommonSpot includes the Export to Excel option in multiple reports throughout the system so you can conveniently collect and distribute data for import into spreadsheets or other applications that accept comma-separated values. Click this option to display a table of all fields within the current report, then select the fields whose values you want to export and save in spreadsheet or CSV format. Selected fields automatically display as column heads in the CSV output. You also have the option to change column names on the fly to customize your reports.
