Due to the continued very high fire danger and current level of fire activity in the State of Utah, Superintendent Kate Cannon has announced fire restrictions for Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, and Natural Bridges and Hovenweep National Monuments.

Effective July 9, 2012, Canyonlands National Park will begin charging new fees for all backcountry permits.

Active Duty U.S. Military Personnel Offered Free Entrance to All National Parks
To show appreciation for those who serve in the U.S. Military the National Park Service is now offering an annual pass good for free entrance to all 397 national parks for active duty military members and their dependents.
