An entrance pass is not required to access Alaska Public Lands .

Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money.

 
Interagency America the Beautiful Passes
Includes: Annual, Senior, Military, and 4th Grade
The Anchorage Alaska Public Lands Information Center inside the Old Federal Building located at 605 W 4th Ave, #105 is open in winter (Labor Day to Memorial Day) Tuesday through Friday, from 10 AM to 5 PM. In summer, AAPLIC is open from 9 AM to 5 PM, seven days a week.

The Fairbanks Alaska Public Lands Information Center inside the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitor Center located at 101 Dunkel St., #110 is open in winter (Labor Day to Memorial Day) Monday through Saturday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. In summer, FAPLIC is open 8 AM to 5 PM, seven days a week.

Interagency passes may not be available everyday. Please call (907) 644-3661 (Anchorage) or (907) 459-3730 (Fairbanks) to ensure availability.

If passes are not available at the Alaska Public Lands Information Centers, there are nearby locations that may have passes.


Anchorage:

The Bureau of Land Management - State Office Public Room, located at 222 W 7th Ave, #13 is open 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. Please call (907) 271-5960 to confirm operating hours and pass availability.

Fairbanks:

The Bureau of Land Management - Fairbanks District Public Room, located at 222 University Ave., is open 9 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday. Please call (907) 474-2200 to confirm operating hours and pass availability.

Denali National Park and Preserve:

Passes are available at the Denali Visitor Center (Mile 1.5 of the Denali Park Road) and at the Walter Harper Talkeetna Ranger Station (Downtown Talkeetna). Visit Denali's Fee and Passes page for more information.

Alaska State Park Passes
Includes: Annual Day-Use Parking

The Anchorage and Fairbanks Alaska Public Lands Information Centers offer Alaska State Park Annual Day-Use Parking Passes. Annual Day-Use Parking and Boat Launch Passes may also be purchased online using the State Park Pass Order Form.
