The American Memorial Park Visitor Center and Pacific Historic Park Bookstore are open daily from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The Visitor Center and Bookstore are closed on the following holidays:

Thanksgiving Day-November 27, 2014

Christmas Day-December 25, 2014

New Years Day-January 1, 2015

American Memorial Park common access areas are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Carillon Bell Tower is dedicated to the American and Northern Marianas people who gave their lives during World War II. In remembrance, bells chime every half-hour from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

American Memorial Park hosts four public use tennis courts on the property. From 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., three of the courts are lighted for night time use.

The park also hosts field sport areas, picnic sites, and two playgrounds for children.

The Island of Tinian, only 3 miles away from Saipan across an ocean channel, was invaded by the U.S. Marine Corps on July 24, 1944, three days after U.S. Forces invaded Guam (150 miles to the south of Saipan).
