Ocmulgee Indian Celebration

The Superintendent and staff of Ocmulgee National Monument would like to invite you to the 2009 Annual Ocmulgee Indian Celebration, September 19-20, 2009 from 10:00 am to 6:00 p.m. each day. This special event has an entry fee of $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children 6-12 years old. Children under 6 years old are free. $2 for active military with I.D. Native dancers from Southeastern Tribes will be in attendance and will perform traditional dances, music, storytelling, and demonstrations. Dancing and music programs will take place on the grounds adjacent to the visitor center and are continuous throughout the day. Visitor participation is welcomed. Limited seating is provided. There will also be food vendors and various children's activities.
