First aid kits can be purchased at the General Store or Visitor Center bookstore. If you are experiencing a major injury or illness while visiting the park, please contact a ranger. If it is an emergency, dial 911. The nearest hospital is Garfield Memorial Hospital located in Panguitch, UT (approximately 30 minutes/23 miles west of the park). St. George Regional Hospital is a Level II Trauma center located in St. George, UT (approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes/141 miles from the park). Restrooms are available at the following locations:
Free public wi-fi can be found at the Visitor Center as well as the Bryce Canyon Lodge.
Bryce Canyon Lodge - The only lodging available within the park is the Bryce Canyon Lodge. The Lodge and its surrounding motel structures are located a short walk from the park's iconic Bryce Amphitheater, and offer 114 rooms including lodge suites, motel rooms, and cabins. Reservations are highly recommended. The Lodge is typically closed for the winter season from November through March.
Campgrounds - Bryce Canyon National Park has two campgrounds, North campground (open year-round) and Sunset campground (closed in winter). For more information on camping in Bryce Canyon and how to book a site please visit the Campgrounds page. Lodging is also available outside the park in nearby communities. We recommend visiting Garfield County Tourism Bureau for more information. Bryce Canyon Lodge - The dining room at the Bryce Canyon Lodge is open seasonally for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Lodge is typically closed for the winter season from November through March.
Valhalla Pizzeria & Coffee Shop - Valhalla Pizzeria & Coffee Shop is located directly adjacent to the Lodge at Bryce Canyon and offers pizza, salads, beer, wine, pastries, coffee, and espresso drinks. Valhalla Pizzeria is typically closed between October and May. General Store - The General Store is located near Sunrise Point and North Campground. It serves "grab-and-go" hot and cold foods such as hot dogs, sandwiches, and ice cream. Beverages such as soda, water, beer, and coffee are also available. The General Store is typically closed between January and March. To find dining in the communities close to Bryce Canyon National Park, we recommend visiting Garfield County Tourism Bureau. There are several different places to buy gifts, food, and supplies in and around the park.
Bryce Canyon Visitor Center Bookstore - The Visitor Center bookstore is operated by the Bryce Canyon Association, the official non-profit partner of Bryce Canyon National Park. Visitors can find Bryce Canyon souvenirs such as apparel, stickers, books, and more. Open year-round during regular Visitor Center hours. General Store - The General Store is located near Sunrise Point and North Campground. Visitors can find camping equipment and supplies such as firewood and cooking fuel, as well as socks, rain ponchos, and Bryce Canyon souvenirs. In addition, "grab-and-go" hot and cold foods and beverages such as soda, water, beer, and coffee can be purchased at this location. The General Store is typically closed between January and March. Bryce Canyon Lodge Gift Shop - The Gift Shop, located just off the lobby of the main lodge, is a showcase for Utah and Native American artists. Visitors can find one-of-a-kind jewelry, pottery, and rugs, as well as Bryce Canyon souvenir items such as postcards, mugs, and keychains. The Lodge and Gift Shop are typically closed for the winter season from November through March. Water-fill stations are available at the following locations:
There are no post offices located within Bryce Canyon National Park.
Visitor Center - Postcard stamps can be purchased at the Visitor Center bookstore. Stamped postcards and letters can be deposited in an outgoing mailbox at the Visitor Center desk. Ruby's Inn Post Offce - The nearest full-service post office can be found in Bryce Canyon City, just north of the park (approximately 1.5 miles), at Ruby's Inn. Coin-operated laundry and a pay-per-shower area are both available at the General Store. Both can be accessed during normal General Store operating hours. The Bryce Canyon RV Dump Station is located at the south end of North Campground near the General Store. It is open spring - fall, closing for the season when overnight temperatures fall below freezing and reopening when they rise above freezing.
The RV Dump Station is free for those who have a campsite reservation within the park. Those without a campsite are subject to a $5 use fee. Potable water and a trash can are available. Alternative dump stations can be found approximately 2 miles north of the park in Bryce Canyon City at the Sinclair gas station or Ruby’s Inn campground. The nearest charging station is a Tesla Destination Charger located at Bryce Canyon Inn in Tropic, UT (approximately 10 miles/13 minutes from the park).
