Updated 5/18/2024 11:10 am Temporary Lake"Lake Manly," the temporary shallow lake at Badwater Basin (formed after storms in August 2023 and February 2024) is now almost entirely dry. Please do not walk in wet/muddy areas to avoid leaving long-lasting footprints. WildflowersDue to rising temperatures and wind, most of the wildflowers on the valley floor are done blooming. There are still patches of wildflowers blooming at higher elevations such as along Daylight Pass and Emigrant Canyon Roads. Road Status— Open Roads PAVED ROADSCLOSED:
UNPAVED/BACKCOUNTRY ROADSCLOSED:Note that road closures listed below apply to ALL motorized vehicles, including motorcycles.The roads were completely washed out in places and entry will cause tire tracks and braided roads in wilderness as users try to locate what was once the road. Thank you for your patience as we work to reopen these locations. Bicycles are permitted except on Titus Canyon Rd.
