The staff of Yosemite National Park is committed to assuring that all interested people and organizations are effectively engaged in the planning process.

The public review and comment period for the Tenaya Lake Area Plan EA begins October 12 and end November 17, 2010. During that time, the EA will be available electronically on the Planning, Environment and Public Comment (PEPC) website, where you can also submit your comments. In case you need a hardcopy and/or a CD, please send a request via e-mail to Yose_Planning@nps.gov.

A public open house will be held October 27, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, with the Tenaya Lake Area Plan presentation at 2:30 pm. Park staff will be available to answer questions, and written comments will be accepted. We look forward to hearing your concerns. This is an opportunity for you to develop a greater understanding of, and participation in, the planning and public review process.

Date: October 27, from 1-4 PM (presentation @ 2:30)
Location: Yosemite Valley Visitor Center Auditorium
Note: Located behind the Visitor Center in Yosemite Valley. Park in the Visitor Parking area and either use the free shuttle or walk 1/4 mile to the meeting location.
