Meetings and workshops were held among stakeholders in May 2009 to initiate this planning effort.

Meeting Goals

  1. Develop Yosemite National Park's Outreach and Visitor Experience Goals.
  2. Identify specific audiences (current and potential) for Yosemite's Interpretation and Education Program, and brainstorm methods appropriate for engaging specific audiences.
  3. Outline the "continuum of engagement" for Yosemite's audiences, identifying primary roles and responsibilities of interpretive partners.
