Fire danger is VERY HIGH in Yellowstone. There are no fire restrictions currently in place. As always, campfires are only permitted within fire rings in our campgrounds and some backcountry campsites. All campfires must be cold to the touch before abandoning. Soak, stir, feel, repeat. Fireworks are not allowed in the park or on other federal lands. Learn more about what wildland fire danger levels mean.
If fire-related closures occur, they will be listed on InciWeb pages linked below. Closures affecting Yellowstone roads will also be listed on the park roads page. Closures affecting park trails and trailheads will be listed on the backcountry situation report.
