Wilson's Creek National Battlefield offers a variety of educational opportunities for schools to participate in, ranging from field trips to the park, to park ranger visits to the classroom. All programs are designed to provide opportunity for students to experience firsthand the unique resources available at Wilson's Creek National Battlefield.

Schools are welcome to visit Wilson's Creek National Battlefield at any time throughout the year. However, special educational programs along the tour road are available only during the months of April and May. Teacher curriculum guides as well as activity, and resource information sheets are available for download at any time and may be helpful during a self-guided visit.

Teachers planning a visit to the battlefield need to make a reservation by calling the Park at 417-732-2662 and asking for the Education Coordinator. No e-mail requests please. Reservations for a spring visit may be made any time after October 1st.
