President Clinton’s Birthplace Home National Historic Site, the University of Arkansas Hope –Texarkana (UAHT), Arkansas Runners LLC and Jefferson National Parks Association will present the third annual Presidential 5k Walk/Run April 14, 2018 on the Hope campus.

Participation is open to all ages and signup sheets will be available inside the Visitor Center of President Clinton’s Birthplace Home NHS and on the websites of the historic site at www.nps.gov/wicl, the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana website at www.uacch.edu, at http://www.arkansasrunner.com/.

Registration is FREE and participation/1st, 2nd, 3rd place prizes will be awarded.

This event is a part of the celebration of the bicentennial celebration for Hempstead County.

After the run a “Night Sky-Gazing into the Stars” program will be conducted by Education Training Specialist, Mike Simpson and Carol Hendrix of Hope Academy of Public Service. Hope is on the Move is an initiative that is seeking to create opportunities for citizens of Hope and surrounding areas to participate in healthy activities such as running, biking and hiking.
