Join us Wednesday evening, July 1 at 7:30 pm, when master storyteller Tom McCormack shares tales of the Oregon Trail. Sit under the rustling leaves in the Tipi Grove as he transforms himself into several distinct characters. You’ll hear many amusing anecdotes and meet a medicine person along the way. And it’s FREE. There is no charge for evening programs at the park.
Tom McCormack has presented theatrical storytelling and musical performances across North America and internationally since 1988. In 1995, he was honored with an achievement award for reinforcing cultural identity in American-Indian youth through his storytelling. In 1996, he was given Parent’s Choice Award honors for his recording “Tales from Western Tribes” (anthology of Native legends).
