If I were taking part in a Junior Ranger program the kinds of things I would like to do most like to do would involve exploring nature and wildlife and learning all kinds of things about National Parks. It would be really cool!

Learn about the history and find out how I can better protect the National Parks that are recognized. I would also like activities that do not hinder the Park Rangers, but I would love to have more interaction with them. I recently visited the Jimmy Carter Site and there was this awesome ranger. She was helpful and just an all-around great person. More interaction with the Rangers would be a great addition to the program.

I would like to observe the wildlife-- the various flora and fauna. etc. In addition, I would keep the park clean by picking up trash. Lastly, I would learn as much as possible about the history, geology, and wildlife at the park to be prepared, be an exceptional tour guide to visitors, and have a memorable experience. ( So far I have visited three state parks in Arizona: Red Rock, Slide Rock, and Grand Canyon. I hope to continue to become a Junior Ranger at even more state parks and make the world a better place.

I'm fine with the Ranger program but I don't like to say the pledge out loud. It embarrasses me. I do like hands on activities.
