Come to the Rainy Lake Visitor Center for a Family Movie Day on Sunday, February 13, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Refreshments and popcorn provided.
Voyageurs National Park will show Iron Will – a one hour and forty-five minute family friendly movie about courage and adventure. After Will Stoneman’s father dies, he faces a choice of attending college as his father had wished, or using his college money to save the family farm. After hearing about a dogsled race from Winnipeg to St. Paul with a large money prize, he decides to enter, knowing that if he wins it, he can do afford to do both. This movie is recommended for ages 8 and up.
This program is sponsored by Voyageurs National Park Association. No fee or registration is required to attend.
Visitors are encouraged to come early to browse through the museum, check out the winter displays in the interactive area, and go snowshoeing or skiing.
