INTERNATIONAL FALLS, MN:On April 8, 1975, Voyageurs National Park was established as our nation's 36th national park. This April, the nation celebrates Voyageurs' 40th birthday. 2015 also marks the 50th anniversary of Voyageurs' founding nonprofit partner, Voyageurs National Park Association. Together, the park and its partner will celebrate this anniversary and thank their many visitors, supporters, partners, and volunteers with a full year of special events.

March 13: New anniversary edition poster available in visitor centers and online at www.jnpa.com.

March 13-15:Thinking of paddling Voyageurs? Stop by the Voyageurs booth at Canoecopia in Madison, WI, to learn more and plan your next trip.

April 18-19:Opening weekend of National Park Week

April 19: Voyageurs National Park Day at the Minnesota Twins Target Field
Come cheer the Twins to victory and help us celebrate Voyageurs' 40th birthday. For each ticket sold through voyageurs.org/tickets, $4 will be donated back to Voyageurs National Park Association.

April 24-26: Visit the Voyageurs booth at Midwest Mountaineering's Outdoor Adventure Expo. On April 24, Park Ranger Lisa Maass will give a special presentation, An Insider's Guide to Voyageurs.

June 6: Volunteer Trail Cleanup Day at Voyageurs
All ages and abilities welcome. It's a great opportunity to make new friends, and give back to the park you love. Registration available at voyageurs.org/2015.

June 1-August 1: Weekly Twilight Walks on the Echo Bay Trail

September 11-12:Fall Volunteer Rendezvous at Voyageurs National Park
