December 19, 1777

A tired and forlorn army of 12,000 men march into Valley Forge. The soldiers' previous two meals, at Gulph Mills, are composed of rice and vinegar; and not much of it. In-between those "meals" the men are ordered to hold a Thanksgiving service; which they do.
