Senior Executive Service Candidate Development
The SESCDP, offered by the Department of the Interior
University's Leadership Institute, is designed to develop future
candidates for the Senior Executive Service. The 12-month program
includes formal courses and seminars, as well as four months of
developmental assignments. The program focuses on the development
of the five Executive Core Qualifications: leading change; leading
people; results driven; business acumen; building coalitions/communications.
GS-14s and GS-15s are eligible to compete for the
program. The program is announced on USAJobs on an as-needed basis.
