Facility Use

The Horace M. Albright Training Center is a primary training facility for the National Park Service. As part of the Servicewide Learning and Development Program, this Training Center primarily supports NPS Fundamentals and the Natural Resource Management training programs.

Other entities may request use of the Albright Training Center facilities, equipment, and supplies in accordance with Directors Order 53 and other applicable policies and guidelines.

Priority Use:

  • Training and other activities sponsored by NPS Servicewide Learning and Development program.
  • Requests from Grand Canyon National Park or other National Park Service units.
  • Requests from other groups such as non-profits; cost-recovery guidelines may be in effect.




How to Request Facility Use



Call the Albright Training Center front desk (928.638.7981, fax 928.638.2953) or the Albright Training Center Lodging Coordinator (928.638.7984) to see if your dates and times are available. If so, the Lodging Coordinator will email you the facility use request form to send in by fax or email.

Reservations for facility use are accepted up to one year in advance. You will be notified of availability within two weeks of submitting an application.
