Explore, Learn, Protect, and Have FUN!

Theodore Roosevelt National Park invites children and youth to become official Junior Rangers. You can earn a Junior Ranger badge when you learn about the park's natural and cultural history.

Junior Ranger Journal

Pick up a free Junior Ranger Field Journal at any park visitor center. The Journal is full of fun activities about the park's history, animals, plants, and geology. After you complete your activities, review them with a ranger. The ranger will sign your certificate and award you with an official Junior Ranger badge.

The National Park Service's online Junior Ranger program is for kids of all ages. You can have fun learning about your national parks, monuments, and historic sites through more than 50 online games.
