Watch the Battle Map Program

Fighting the Battle of Guilford Courthouse

The ten-minute movie is an animated version of the historic British Colonel Banastre Tarleton map that will explain the tactics of the battle. The video predominantly uses red and blue bars to represent the lines of battle, with few live action scenes. This map program will help you understand the layout of the battlefield, and should be viewed before your tour.

Fighting the Battle of Guilford Courthouse is ten minutes long, and is shown on the :15 and :45 after the hour.

Pets are not allowed in the building, except for service animals, defined by the U.S. Department of Justice as “dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.”

This is a free program.
Reservations are not required, but the film begins every :15 and :45 past the hour.
