Background

Teachers: come camp at Grand Canyon before heading back to school! This 3-day seminar includes hands-on lesson plans, free resources, collaboration, opportunities, and strategies for including Grand Canyon in your classroom. Throughout the weekend we will explore the Canyon together with hikes, tours, and learning activities. Accommodations, breakfast, and lunch are provided with the cost of the program.

Educator Trip to Indian Garden Check back for future trips!
Educators will immerse themselves in Grand Canyon by hiking to and camping at the historic Indian Gardens site along Bright Angel Trail. Participants will receive tips on how to recreate field experiments in the classroom and enjoy a collaborative networking experience. Materials for classroom connections will be passed out at the end of the program.

Certified Interpretive Guide Courses Check Back Soon for Program Dates!
Canyon Field School, in partnership with the National Association for Interpretation (NAI), offers professional certification course for individuals who deliver (or will be delivering) interpretive non-formal and informal education programs or have public contact at interpretive sites.
