Program Summary:
Preschoolers in the Park programs consist of a storytime, an activity engaging with one or more park resources, and a craft activity. All programs are based around some of the concepts learned in preschool, such as:
Abc's - Uppercase print letters, writing name
Identifying objects - What is this? What is s/he doing? Colors, shapes, animals, objects
Counting to 10
Cutting with Scissors and Drawing beyond scribbles
Sharing, Communicating wants and needs, Taking Turns, Following simple directions

National Parks
Animals and Nature
Colonial Garden Party
Archaeology
Life in the Past
Colonial Clothing
Tools
Iron and Metal Today

Program Length: 45 - 60 minutes

Target Audience: Children ages 2-6; Preschoolers

In our National Parks program, children are asked to draw what they care most about protecting in their own National Park Arrowhead.
