Changing Landscapes: 5th grade pre and post-visit activities
- Grade Level:
- Upper Elementary: Third Grade through Fifth Grade
Landscapes are continually altered and reshaped by natural processes. Zion National Park contains tremendous examples of Earth's constantly changing surface and the geologic processes responsible. Students will explore how geological processes such as sedimentation, weathering, erosion, and uplift shape Zion and much of southern Utah.
These pre and post-visit activities are designed to accompany the curriculum-based program that rangers will present when they visit your classroom or when you visit the park.
