In Arizona the month of March is all about archeology. There are events around the state all month long, sponsored by the State Historic Preservation Office, Arizona State Parks, and the Governor's Archaeology Advisory Commission.
As units of the National Park Service, the Flagstaff Area National Monuments are happy to join the fun. Here are this year's events at Sunset Crater Volcano, Wupatki, and Walnut Canyon National Monuments.
