Ten model cities have been selected to demonstrate the Urban Agenda principles and strategically activate the full portfolio of NPS resources using collaborative approaches. In the model cities, the National Park Service will engage communities as it relates to youth connections, outdoor recreation, historic preservation, economic vitality, health, and urban design and sustainability.
