Are you 62 or older? Are you looking for a change? Senior Skip DayTM is a perfect opportunity for you to skip out on the same old same old and enjoy a healthy and fun day at a national park!On October 8, everyone 62 and older can get free entry to any of the more than 400 national parks to enjoy healthy and fun activities, compliments of Humana. This day was created to encourage seniors to recall their high school years and skip out on their normal, daily routine and enjoy a healthy day in one of our national parks. Because why should high schoolers have all the fun?
The National Park Service harnesses the power of parks and public lands to help people live healthier lifestyles through the Healthy Parks Healthy People US program, as well as through the National Park Foundation and Humana partnership. Humana-sponsored Find Your Park activities will help people from all backgrounds appreciate America's national parks as great natural, cultural and historical resources that can also improve health. Humana employees kicked off the partnership with the National Park Foundation by creating a GPS-based geo map of #FindYourPark in a local park near Humana's Louisville, Kentucky, headquarters to help raise the profile of the nation's parks and encourage others to take advantage of all that national parks have to offer. To download the lifetime pass voucher, learn about events, and register for Senior Skip Day, visit HumanaSeniorSkipDay.com.
