The 2015 National Park Service Lighting Training Workshop
The 2015 National Park Service Lighting Training Workshop provided an opportunity for NPS staff to learn about recent developments in LED and other lighting technologies that address the unique lighting concerns in national parks, including energy efficiency, costs, public safety, and both natural and cultural resource protection. The intention was to learn through joint fact finding and identify various options, technologies, and practices to help NPS achieve sustainable outdoor lighting objectives. Reaching a consensus among participants was not an objective of the workshop.
