Voices from the past speak, inaccessible peaks are climbed, and complex processes are revealed through the world of film. In collaboration with park staff and subject matter experts, HFC staff and contractors plan, design, and produce programs in a variety of formats including high-definition video, standard-definition video, 16mm and 35mm film and interactive multimedia. We also provide foreign language audio tracks as well as accessibility features such as captioning and audio descriptions.

Join three teen poets from New York City on an adventure to the wilderness of Fire Island National Seashore. Here, these young city dwellers discover a natural sanctuary sheltered from the fast paced frenzy of urban life.  And it's only a train ride away! As Ramya, Gabe and Sergio explore this coastal wilderness with spoken word poetry, each begins to form a deeper understanding of the personal relationship he/she has to the natural world.

Located on a barrier Island off the south shore of Long Island, Otis Pike Fire Island High Dune Wilderness is one of the closest and most accessible NPS wilderness areas to a major metropolitan center.
