This year marks the 50th anniversary of the National Trails System Act! Come celebrate with us by participating in American Hiking Society's National Trails Day at Stones River National Battlefield. We will be improving local trails by removing invasive plants from Fortress Rosecrans, Old Fort Park, and the Lytle Creek Greenway.
We have a limited capacity to supervise volunteers. Therefore we ask everyone to register by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
When: June 2, 2018 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Where: Picnic Pavilion at Murfreesboro's Old Fort Park
What Will We Do: Remove invasive exotic plants and trash from Fortress Rosecrans, Old Fort Park and the Lytle Creek Greenway.
Volunteers should wear long pants and closed toe shoes. Please also bring work gloves and a water bottle if you have them.
