"Miner's Lunch Box" and "History of Anthracite Coal"

On February 14, the Pennsylvania Anthracite Heritage Museum will present its popular “Miners Lunch Box” program. The program, laced with humor and presented by living history character “Slats Grobnick” explains to visitors what a precious commodity food was to hard working miners. At 2:00 p.m., Anthracite Heritage Museum Site Administrator, Chester Kulesa will present a power point program on the History of Anthracite Coal, showcasing the economic and institutional development of the region and its impact on immigration.

This program will be presented in the Steamtown Theater and is included in the Park Entrance Fee.
