Ranger programs

Tactile objects: All ranger programs strive to engage multiple senses and learning styles, and often include audio components and/or tactile objects.

Park Entrance Area

Phillip A. Hart Visitor Center Area

Films and exhibits: 17-minute, narrated film, Dreams of the Sleeping Bear, shares sights and sounds of the park in all its seasons. Many exhibits in the center are tactile, including geology exibits, historic artifacts, and more.

Noises and quite spaces: A PA system announces showings of the film and in the event of an emergency the fire alarm is quite loud. Benches outside the facility can offer a respite from the often-busy facility.
