What In The World Is A Legacy: Herbert Hoover & YOU!

Herbert Hoover was an amazing individual who dedicated his life to service. From 1914 until his death in 1964, he did not accept and keep for himself any money or salary given to him for his public service including his salaries as Secretary of Commerce and President!

You have learned some of the Who, Where, How, and Why of the man - engineer, president, and public servant.

Think, for a moment, about the Where. Hoover lived all over the world, but Rapidan Camp, even if just for four years, is a strong reflection of who he was and what was to come. Home is an important part of everyone, no matter where or what that home might be.

As you reflect on his life, use your Journal to organize your thoughts and come to some insights about your life…the Who, Where, How, and Why of YOU! Click here for some "jumpstarts!"
