SEQUOIA AND KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARKS, CA – Help shape the future of two of your favorite national parks! The National Park Service would like your comments on a draft “Foundation Document” for planning and management of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The foundation document revisits the parks’ core missions and significance, most important natural and historical resources and values, and overarching messages and themes for the public. The foundation document is not a decision-making document and does not include actions or management strategies. Instead, it describes a shared understanding of what is most important about the parks. Comments and recommendations regarding this foundation document will be accepted through October 28, 2015, either online at https://parkplanning.nps.gov/seki_foundation OR by
