Scotts Bluff National Monument will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2014, for Martin Luther King Day.
The Visitor Center and restrooms will be closed and the summit road will be closed to vehicles, but the public is welcome to park in the parking lot and go for a walk. Pedestrians will also be allowed to use the summit road as well as the trails since no vehicles will be driving on it. Dogs are welcome on the trails if they are on a leash and any leavings are cleaned up.
