Welcome to Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site!
Our Visitor Center is within the annex to the Iron Works House. Stop by and meet with a ranger for an introduction to the site. You can do lots of other things here as well, including:
- Receive a park map
- Learn about ranger-led tours
- Participate in the Junior Ranger program
- Stamp your National Park Service passport
- Press a penny
- Purchase books and souvenirs at the Eastern National gift shop
Historically, most of this portion of the building was constructed during Wallace Nutting's ownership of the Iron Works House in 1917. However, some portions of the current visitor center were added on in more modern times.
