Every Kid Outdoors Free Annual Pass Program for 4th Graders
In 2015, President Obama launched Every Kid in a Park (EKIP), an initiative to encourage 4th grade children and their families to enjoy our country’s national parks and public lands, for FREE.
This program continues in 2019-2020 but has been renamed "Every Kid Outdoors." All current 4th grade students (including home-schooled and free-choice learners 10 years of age) are eligible for an "Every Kid Outdoors" pass, which is valid from September 1, 2019 through August 31, 2020.
To get your annual pass today, follow these three easy steps:
2. Bring the paper voucher to the fee booth on Hyde Street Pier (or any federal land that charges an entrance fee) and exchange it for a durable "Every Kid Outdoors" annual pass.
3. Use your "Every Kid Outdoors" pass as many times as you want throughout the year to discover hundreds of majestic landscapes, breathtaking views, and inspiring historic sites across the entire country.
We hope to see your whole family at our park soon!
Attention 4th grade teachers: We offer a free, standards-aligned, ranger-led field trip especially for 4th grade classes. The program is called “Vessels and their Vocations.” During this field trip, all students will receive their Every Kid Outdoors pass.
